Evangelism Ministry

Their mission is to reach the unsaved in the church's community and beyond with the message of Jesus Christ. "Go ye therefore, and teach all nation, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." - Matthew 28:19

Deacon Ministry

The Deacon Ministry's mission is to work in concert with the Pastor in formulating plans for continuous progress of our Church in all things pertaning to the saving of souls, the development of Christians, and the extension and growth of the Kingdom of God.

Deaconess Ministry

This ministry is dedicated to continually praying for the Pastor, his family, the congregation, the Vision, and humankind daily. Also, they attend joint meeting with the Deacons to plan and accomplish God's mission and stay an effective ministry.

Leadership Council

The Leadership Council is dedicated to increasing the comfort level of ministry leaders as disciples of Christ, to increase joyful giving of time, talents, and tithes, and to help Pastor carry out his mission, vision, and theme for the current year.

Christian Education

This ministry continues to focus on growing in the knowledge of GOD's WORD by living the Word coming from 2 Timothy 2:15, "Studying to show ourselves approved as workman needing not to be ashamed by rightly dividing God's word of truth..."

Music Ministry

The Music Ministry focuses on the mission of serving as a vessel to enhance His kingdom. We strive for music excellence to bring biblical verse, hymns, spirituals, and traditional and contemporary styles of music to the worship experience.

Missionary Ministry

Mission: To develop a true sense of missions for individual and collective growth. It is our unrelenting thrust to become vessels to serve others and support the services of the Shiloh ministries, as we follow the leadership of our Pastor and support the themes of our Church.

Nursery Ministry

The purpose of the Nursery Ministry and broaden the minds and imaginations of our children.

Women's Fellowship Ministry

The mission of this ministry is to address the needs and concerns of the Christian Woman. Their goal is to ultimately enhance every woman's spritual journey.

Men's Fellowship Ministry

The Men's fellowship Ministry continues the effort to foster Christian Fellowship with the men of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Library Ministry

Our goal for the B.T. Moore Memorial Library is to preserve the history of Shiloh Baptist Church and to foster spiritual, cultural, and educational growth of our community through literature. Our mission is to enable and encourage our community and members to read for himself or herself and to read to our elderly and youth.

Scholarship Ministry

The mission of the Scholarship Ministry is to award scholarship to our graduating high school seniors who are active members of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Hospitality Ministry

The role of the Hospitality Ministry is to greet our congregation and visitors on Sunday mornings with a spirit of love, for we try to graciously make all who step into our santuary feel truly welcome.

Communication Ministry

The Newsletter is written to present information to the Church members and Community regarding events going on in the church and surrounding areas. It also includes birthdays, anniversaries, and member recognition. The Newsletter is published monthly and usually distributed on the first Sunday of each month.

Body and Soul Committee

The mission is to increase the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables among Shiloh members and to promote healthy eating and physically active lifestyles that will assist believe with achieving or maintaining strong bodies and keen minds that enable us to be effective in our service for the Lord.

Culinary Ministry

Purpose: To prepare delicious balanced meals for our church members, friends, and those who are less fortunate. We support other ministries with their social function. We believe that as we all eat together, we shall be ONE body in Christ.

Community Food Pantry Service

On the second Thursday of each month, the Lutheran Community Services mobile pantry comes to Shiloh Baptist Church. With the help of several volunteers from Shiloh, food boxes and fresh produce are distributes to many families in the community who are enrolled in the program.

Umoja and Imani Dance Ministries

The Umoja (Women) and Imani (Young Ladies) dance ministries are dedicated to giving honor and glory to God by expressing His love and peace through dance. In so doing, we acknowledge the Word of our Lord in Psalm 149:3 which states, "Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with tambourine and harp."
